MPO Solutions provided professional engineering services for DFW Airport's CTX Machine Plumbing Risk Evaluation, delivering an engineering-based assessment of the plumbing and foreign material risks affecting the Computer Tomography X-ray (CTX) machines located at Terminals A, B, C, D, and E. The work established the technical basis to identify risks from leaks or spills that could disrupt the proper functioning of the CTX systems, supporting DFW's broader effort to safeguard security screening operations against unplanned downtime, false alarms, and potential security breaches.

Scope included a plumbing, sprinkler, and foreign material risk evaluation of the CTX systems and components across all five terminal areas. Key services included field assessment of potential leak sources, including sprinkler systems, grease, sewage, condensate, and other foreign materials capable of damaging the internal and external components of the CTX machines, and the development of recommendations to mitigate risks and protect the long-term reliability of this critical security equipment.
