Data Center HVAC and BAS (Data C1 and DC2)

MPO Solutions served as the engineering consultant for DFW Airport's Data Center 1 and 2 HVAC and BAS Evaluation, delivering a documented engineering-based conditional study of the Building Automation System (BAS), HVAC, and mechanical systems serving both data center facilities. The evaluation established the technical basis to understand the current condition and functionality of these systems and to define the path forward for improving automation and integration with the Airport's Niagara-Tridium N4 Enterprise Integrated Operations System (EIOS), supporting the reliability of two of DFW's most mission-critical facilities.

Scope included a review of existing documentation and test reports, site visits, and visual assessment of the HVAC equipment, along with evaluation of the BAS for obsolescence, effectiveness, and integration capability with the Airport's EIOS. Key services included inspections, discussions, review of sequence of operations, schedules, and setpoints for energy efficiency, and the development of recommendations to bring the Data Center HVAC and BAS systems to current operational and integration standards.
