DFW International Airport

MPO Solutions served as the engineering consultant for DFW Airport's Water Distribution System (WDS) Infrastructure Evaluation, delivering a documented engineering-based evaluation of the overall WDS to determine pipe material and pre-populate the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Form-20943. MPO's work supported DFW's compliance with the January 15, 2021 Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR), applying EPA and TCEQ assessment criteria to equip ETAM with the technical foundation to meet regulatory obligations across the airport's WDS.
MPO led an assessment team that divided the airport's vast area into twenty-nine (29) sectors to structure the ground activities approach. Key services included field visits and cataloguing of 522 water meter locations across both AOA and Non-AOA portions of the airport, with water supply line materials and sizes documented in BlueRithm, and coordination with DFW Water Utilities to access challenging locations including flooded sites and those requiring excavation. Findings, issues, cost estimates, the completed TCEQ form, and GIS data were consolidated into a report deliverable to ETAM, equipping DFW with a compliant and actionable service line inventory.

MPO Solutions provides overall program oversight and management of various facilities related assessments for the Energy Transportation and Asset Management Department (ETAM) of DFW Airport.
