MPO Solutions provided engineering consulting services for DFW Airport's Skylink Stations and MSF Main-Tie-Main Switchgear Evaluation, delivering a documented engineering-based conditional study of the existing 480V main-tie-main (MTM) switchgears located in the electrical rooms at the Maintenance Storage Facility (MSF) and the Airport Skylink Stations serving Terminals A, B, C, and E (North and South). The evaluation established the technical basis for recommending upgrades or replacements to incorporate the latest technology in accordance with applicable codes and standards for critical operations power systems, supporting the long-term reliability of the Airport's electrical distribution network.

Scope included a review of existing documentation and test reports, site visits, and visual assessment of the MTM switchgear at each location. Key services included inspections, discussions, evaluation of current operating conditions, and the development of recommendations for improvements aimed at increasing the reliability of the electrical distribution system, equipping DFW with an engineering evaluation report to guide upgrade and replacement decisions across these critical airport facilities.
