Terminal D and Parking Garage Roofing & Waterproofing

MPO Solutions served as the engineering consultant for DFW Airport's Terminal D Roofing and Waterproofing Condition Assessment, delivering a documented engineering-based evaluation of the roof systems and waterproofing of the exterior walls, windows, and doors at Terminal D and the Terminal D Parking Garage (Skylink Stations excluded). MPO's work established the technical basis to inform DFW's Asset Management Program (AMP) and Capital Improvement Program (CIP), providing the Roofing and Waterproofing Department and Planning Department with the data needed to guide future investment decisions.

MPO led an evaluation team that assessed the complex Terminal D roofing system, skylights, and sizeable curtain walls, along with the parking garage roofing systems and waterproofing of the exterior walls, windows, and doors. Key services included on-site field evaluations and the deployment of drone services to photograph the metal roofing system, skylights, and curtain walls. Project activities culminated in final report deliverables for both the terminal and parking garage, including findings, recommendations, cost estimates, exhibits, and photos to ETAM, equipping DFW with a comprehensive basis for capital planning across both facilities.
