DFW International Airport

MPO Solutions delivered a documented engineering-based demarcation evaluation of the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Fire Protection (FP) systems serving DFW Airport's Terminal A, Terminal C (Ramp Level, Phase 1A, and High C Gates), and the Terminal A-C Connector Building. The work established the technical basis to clearly delineate maintenance responsibilities between DFW Preventative Maintenance providers and Airline maintenance, equipping the Airport with a structured framework to define operational accountability for shared infrastructure across high-traffic terminal areas.
The evaluation covered a review of existing documentation, site visits, and visual assessment of the MEP and FP assets, with the Baggage Handling Systems, American Airlines Communication Rooms, and Passenger Boarding Bridges excluded from scope. Key services included confirmation of current condition and maintenance history, identification of deficiencies, and the development of a schedule of priorities for systems in need of correction prior to takeover of maintenance responsibilities, delivering DFW a clear roadmap to support the transition of maintenance accountability across the evaluated facilities.
