Terminal A Existing Systems Evaluation

Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) engaged MPO Solutions to deliver a documented engineering-based condition assessment of Terminal A's Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Fire Protection systems, excluding the Skylink Stations, Tenant Concession Systems, and Terminal Parking Garage. The work established the technical basis to understand the current condition, maintenance history, and functionality of the vast array of building systems serving one of DFW's highest-traffic passenger facilities, supporting informed capital planning across multiple disciplines.

MPO led an assessment team that performed a multi-phased evaluation over a 118-day calendar period, covering the building systems and equipment outlined in the scope of work. Key services included visual inspections, discussions with operations and maintenance staff, review of existing documentation and test reports, and the development of recommendations for upgrade or replacement of obsolete or inoperable devices. Field activities culminated in a final report deliverable to ETAM with findings, recommendations, and cost estimates across the Conveying, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection, and Electrical Service and Distribution disciplines.
