Terminal Concourse, Restrooms and Plumbing

MPO Solutions served as the engineering consultant for DFW Airport's Restroom and Concourse Facilities Condition Assessment, delivering a documented engineering-based Architectural, Plumbing, and Fire Protection condition assessment of thirty-five (35) restroom locations across the Concourse Landside (B5, B28, B44), the Holistic Restroom Assessment Program Group 3 (A11, A38, B10, D5, D36, E7), and the plumbing assessment of Restrooms B19, B34, D22, and D5. MPO's work established the technical basis to prioritize capital improvements and operation and maintenance actions across these high-traffic passenger facilities.

MPO led an assessment team covering the three disciplines, coordinating with JLL, American Airlines, and discipline engineers to conduct site visits and inspections performed at night to minimize passenger impact. Key services included field surveys, interviews with maintenance staff, and video scoping of the sanitary sewer lines at Terminals A, B, and E. Architectural, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Video Scoping findings, capital recommendations, and cost estimates were consolidated into three separate report deliverables to ETAM, equipping DFW with a prioritized roadmap for restroom infrastructure improvements.
