Trigg Lake Dam Assessment and Annual Inspections

MPO Solutions is the Dam Engineer of Record for DFW Airport, owner and operator of Trigg Lake Dam (ID No. TX05801), a TCEQ-classified High Hazard Dam. In this role, MPO safeguards the long-term integrity of a critical airport asset by supporting both the ETAM and EAD departments across inspection, analysis, and operational readiness activities.

Key services include annual and emergency dam inspections, dam breach analysis, review of dam operations and Maintenance Manuals, and review of projects in proximity to the dam, including the East-West Connector Bridge and associated post-construction inspections in accordance with TCEQ requirements. MPO also delivers staff training on dam monitoring instrumentation such as inclinometers and piezometers, ensuring DFW personnel are equipped to maintain compliance and respond effectively to evolving site conditions.
