DFW International Airport

MPO Solutions served as the engineering consultant for DFW Airport's Class C1 Elevator Feasibility Study, delivering a documented engineering-based feasibility analysis on the installation of Class C1 rated elevators across Terminals A, B, C, D, and E. The study established the technical basis to define how goods and services can be efficiently lifted from the airside Terminal Ramp to the concourse level, supporting the operational needs of DFW concessioners and strengthening the airport's logistics capabilities across all five terminals.
Scope included a review of historical documents, current design specifications, and as-built drawings, along with a thorough evaluation against the governing code ASME A17.1 / CSA B44 as adopted by the State of Texas. Key services included code-based feasibility analysis, evaluation of vertical transportation needs between airside and concourse levels, and the development of a basis of design plan to guide the implementation of Class C1 elevators in alignment with operational requirements and applicable industry standards.
